“If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.” ~ The Dalai Lama

We all have events, places, or mindsets that make us happy, some make us happier than others. Think back to the last couple months of all the times you were at your happiest point. Was it when you were with someone, a place, or maybe you were thinking of something in the past that made you smile and laugh?
The more often you put yourself in these places and moments, the better chance you have at being happier. Isn’t that what we’re all after everyday? If not, it’s time for you to change.
We’re going to have those days of feeling down. There is no way around them. You just have to accept it and move on. What is a great way to move on from a rough day? Go into one of your favorite, happy places. I can’t tell you what your happy place is or what makes you happy, only you know that. If you don’t know what makes you happy, it’s your job to find it; you owe yourself at least that. Life is short and you don’t want to be unhappy in this short life when there is so much happiness out there for everyone to share.
